Bushfires

Just to let you all know that Warrnambool is one of the safest places at the moment and far away from the terrible fires that are engulfing the state of Victoria. There have been many deaths and lots of destruction around the state, but Warrnambool is quite safe.

Saturday was the beginning of the fires, and it was a very hot day down here for the first part of the day. Hot, hot strong winds and high temperatures, then the clouds came over and the temp. dropped dramatically for the evening. By 1900 we were sitting outside having a BBQ and it was quite cold. The weather here is below 20 degrees, compared to the rest of the State.

Its a sad time, but unfortunately, its not the first bush fires, and it will not be the last.

At work we are sacrificing our tips this week and donating to the fires.
