Maurice. The best travel companion in the world. An essential for high moral, stupid jokes, friendly nature, money saving tools, budget cook and has an extreme travel destination lust!
Business cards for India. Name, age, nationality, Date of Birth, sex, address, passport number, date of arrival in India, visa Number. Really useful for hotels on arrival. Often hotel managers dont like you to settle in your room until you have given all this information, often still with your rucksack on your back. Give them this card and they can fill it i themselves!
Marmite, coz I miss it and it contains Vit b12 which mosquitoes dont like. Great excuse for eating the stuff
Cooking oil. Great mosquito repellent. They cant get to your skin if you lather yourself in the stuff...but stay out of the sun!
Tiger balm. Great for colds, and great for smelly places. Puts some on a tissue and sniff away!
Sarong. Endless list. Towel, blanket, scarf, pillow, dress, skirt....
Pillowcase. Can be used as a bag to store clean/dirty clothes in, or if the hotels pillowcase is a little manky, cover it with your own! (or change hotel)
