Here we are finally!
we booked ths flight ages and ages ago, and we have enjoyed it so far.
We are staying in a nice hostel which is full of Aussies, much to Maurices disapointment!. The city is wonderfull, lots of beautiful buildings and amazing views.
Last night, we went out for a meal (to celebrate our holiday and the fact that i quit my job the day before.....yes its true!) and found ourselves in a HUGE restaurant and shared a plate of the most strangest food.
I know that I should be more opened minded to food since I have been to so many places, but when it comes to eating pigs ears and trotters... it was a little too overwhelming for me. They actually were quite nice, but it is hard to eat a FOOT.
Today we went into the old city and took in all the small side streets and quaint buildings and ended up on the other side of the river, where we were told that there was a good shopping centre where we could get cheep good Lithuanina food. After a good feed, Maurice went to get a hair cut and ended up with the worst he has ever had! hahahaha.
We will be staying here for a couple of days, but not too sure where our next stop is.
