KGB Museum Vilnius

Flowers left by relatives of the prisoned Priests
This cell was filled with ice cold water. The prisoner would stand on the circle in the middle of the room for up to five days. Any movement would mean falling into the cold water.
Each cell was made for up to 10 prisoners, but in reality around 30 would be in there. KGB workers would also be in the cells with the prisoners, on the off chance that one may break down under all the strain and confess all to his fellow inmates.
Posted by Picasa This is the room where the KGB conducted most of their phone tapping.
